For more than 30 years, our family has been providing customers with their own Sunbrella fabric for their personal do-it-yourself (DIY) projects.
Our story begins with our first store, Awning Works Inc., out of Clearwater, Florida. It specializes in the manufacture and installation of many types of sun control and storm protection products. Throughout the years, we have had so many requests from customers requesting to buy their own Sunbrella fabric that we created this website where people can go to do just that. We launched Outdoor Fabric Central in 2003 for the DIY enthusiast and, in the process, have helped people design and create some really neat things.
As our businesses grew, so did the services and products that we offered. We now operate three niche outdoor fabric sites as well as an interior fabric site, FabricCopia, which launched in late 2011. Our latest endeavor is the launch of our sister store, Patio Lane, which features not only outdoor fabrics, but also interior décor fabrics as well as outdoor living products such as outdoor furniture. Patio Lane also features our unique cushion service, where we customize any piece of furniture with your choice of fabric for a personal, one-of-a-kind look.
Our family enterprise mission is built upon a philosophy of excellence through teamwork supported by ethical and professional business practices. Of paramount importance is creating a work environment highly suited to enhanced creativity and productivity. Our goal is the offering of quality and highly useful products and services to the consumer and business community, and to that end, we dedicate ongoing resources to the research and development of new ideas.
As a business led by strong family values and sense of community, our family enterprise looks to participate in and support social ideas that positively affect the health and safety of our employees, families, and the community. We have a special focus on assisting children’s programs and supporting disabled women and men who have served in our armed forces.
